Changes to Medical Assessments for Australian visas

The Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) has announced that from the 20th of November 2015, changes to determining requirements for medical assessments for Australian visas will commence.  The legal changes are good news for visa applicants and will make it much simpler to understand what will be required for anyone who needs a health check to obtain an Australian visa.

It is important to note, that even though the process to work out what checks are needed is going to be easier, the medical requirements that must be passed are still very strict and remain at a high standard.

For more information, you can check with the DIBP on their website, or even better, contact us at Embark Migration and we will be happy to provide further advice.
